Sailor Saturn is the Soldier that no one wants to awaken - because when she is awakened, it is said that she'd destroy everything. Unfortunetly, a girl who should have died years ago is the body containing Sailor Saturn, Hotaru Tomoe. Now Hotaru Tomoe is not only living with the enemy, but it seems like she's turning into it as well!

Personality
Hotaru is a very sick girl, as she should have died. She is prone to getting "attacks" where she finds it hard to breath, hurts people without knowing and says weird things. She finds it hard to make friends because of this. She can't really get out much either because her condition makes her weak. This has resulted in Hotaru becoming slightly anti social, not having any friends and spending most time in her room or out in the park alone. She is quite a nice and cheerful girl though for those who get to know her, but also very shy.

Possesed
In Sailor Moon S, Hotaru has been possesed with Mistress 9, the Soverign of Silence. After consuming Rini's pure heart, Hotaur transforms into her and takes the Purity Chalace from Sailor Moon by manipulating her. Hotaru is still with in Mistress 9 though, and keeps righting to break free of Mistress 9 and get her out of her body. Finally Hotaru screams from within that she has people she cares about and rips Mistress 9's body appart.

Soldier Qualities
Sailor Saturn is the soldier of Death and Destruction. She was given the power to end everything, but in doing so she'll lose her life. She is a very different character to Hotaru as it seems, being wiser and willing to lay down her life for everyone else. She firstly loses her life by using her power in Sailor Moon S, but Super Sailor Moon saves her. She then tries to do it again in Stars to kill Nehelenia but Mini-Moon tells her not to because Sailor Moon will stop Nehelenia. Sailor Saturn also has Silence Wall, an attack which can protect the other Soldiers.
